CESAR TURTURRO COMBINED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN VISUAL EFFECTS (VFX) AND STORYTELLING.
FILM DIRECTOR & VFX ARTIST
He is a professional film director & vfx specialist who has worked as VFX supervisor for History Channel, where he has achieved success developing major documentaries for the Latin American region. Cesar then decided to make a start creating his own sci-fi world, Invasion 2040, a post-apocalyptic western. He is currently releasing Genesys One, a live action sci-fi short film, the prequel to Invasion 2040.
Cesar is a born storyteller. He loves CGI, but he also loves filming, and he has found “Live Action” is the word that embodies his passion. He has thus embarked on combining the main CG softwares in the market with his skills as camera operator to give life to his contents. He has directed one of the most important documentaries on aviation history produced in Latin America, Malvinas: la guerra desde el aire, where he, together with his team, has recreated footage of the main aerial combats that took place during this war.
He was afterwards involved in creating Life After People LATAM, a post-apocalyptic documentary, and Contacto Extraterrestre, where he was in charge of the VFX Supervision. He has decided to draw on the experience he has acquired in all those well-established companies to start working in his own sci-fi film, Invasion 2040, which is currently in development to become a TV show. As part of this universe, he has released a live action short film, Genesys One, now playing in festivals. As Content Creator, he has recently developed content for several companies in Argentina and the Dominican Republic. Thanks to his cinematic look and his professional post production work, each of his contents builds a new different world. That’s why he loves what he does.
